ECDA Scholarships & Awards Presentation Ceremony 2016
ECDA held our annual Scholarships & Awards Presentation Ceremony on 2 November 2016. A total of 408 Scholarships, Teaching Awards and Training Awards were presented.
Quality educators are the heart of early childhood. The annual ECDA Scholarships and Awards Presentation Ceremony recognises these deserving individuals in their academic pursuits to be outstanding early childhood educators.
Held on 2 Nov at NTUC Auditorium, Minister for Social and Family Development, Mr Tan Chuan-Jin presented 408 Scholarships, Teaching Awards and Training Awards to outstanding and aspiring early childhood educators at the Ceremony. The four-fold increase in the number of Training Award recipients from last year shows that many remarkable young individuals are eager to carry the baton of nurturing our future generation. Minister also announced the new Training Award (University) and Commendation Award for outstanding Training Award recipients. The new initiatives are part of ECDA's ongoing efforts to support every early childhood educator in their journey to excel in their craft.
Congratulations to all our recipients! Continue to keep your aspirations flying high!
