Engaging Tea Session with ECDA Training Awards Graduands
A special tea session was held for the 2016 Training Award (TA) graduants on 12 November at ECDA. Many of those present shared that they benefited from the dialogue and hands-on activities. It was an enjoyable and meaningful session with active participation from all!
Ms Rebecca Han, Senior Programme Specialist, Odyssey The Global Preschool and ECDA Fellow and Ms Cynthia Tan, Principal, The Caterpillar's Cove Child Development and Study Centre @Jurong East shared with the new early childhood educators their tips and experience on managing a class with confidence and the communication strategies to establish good rapport with parents.
Facilitated by lecturers from ITE College Central, Ms Dorcas Tang and Ms Jerine Chng, the TA graduants had an engaging session of dialogue and hands-on activities. The TA graduants walked away with a wealth of knowledge, applicable skills for their work and firm friendships with fellow early childhood educators. They are now recharged and more confident to continue in their journeys to give every child a good start!
